Celebrating a summer birthday, consider this fun Aloha Hawaiian themed party!

This fabulous Hawaiian summer party was styled by my mum Debbie Shaw.

Take your guests on a journey to the tropical island of Hawaii.

Setting the scene on arrival, guests were greeted with an Aloha from the islands cheekiest animal, Mandy the Monkey handing out leis. Decorations are the most important aspect of an Hawaiian themed party as they set the tone for the day. Inside the party, the décor is bright, colourful, abundant in palm leaves, Hawaiian florals, tropical animals, pineapples and more.

Highlights from the party

• Cheeky monkey to welcome and dress guests with leis on arrival

• Tikki Bar serving mocktails and smoothies in Hawaiian styled jugs and the must have cactus props

• Snack Shack Prop My Party table full of tasty jungle animal treats and decorated with cheeky monkeys

• Tropical Palm leaves garland with swinging monkeys

• Colourful photo booth, with bright floats and props

• Colourful garland hanging from one end of the garden to another

• Outdoor games full of colour, water balloon garland, skittles, throw the ring on the cone.

• Fun signs including Pool Party This Way, Snack Shack

• Fun desserts, donuts with palm leaves, colour pop painted pineapples

• Colourful food display and plates matching the party colour and theme
